This is the ultimate trip ... the sensation of space travel, with the ease and comfort of a private airplane excursion. The weightless experience takes participants on a flight that delivers the rare and coveted sensation only astronauts have been privileged to experience until now -- true and sustained weightlessness. A specially configured aircraft takes participants on the very same series of parabolic maneuvers used to train astronauts for zero gravity in space. And Zero-G is the only company in the world approved by the FAA to offer this phenomenon to the public. Flights are regularly scheduled throughout the year, departing from either Las Vegas, Nevada or the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Each flight can carry up to 35 passengers. Flights are open to passengers as young as 12 years old with parental participation. There is no upper age restriction. The cost of the trip is $3,500 per person plus tax. When the "G-Force One" aircraft reaches 28,000 feet, the 35 passengers are led into a large cushioned "float area". A place where one moment you will be quietly lying on the padded floor; and the next moment, you will rise slowly and begin to float free in the air — absolutely weightless! The "G-Force One" flight lasts about 90 minutes and features 15 parabolic maneuvers. First, you experience Martian gravity (one-third your weight); then two parabolas of Lunar gravity (one-sixth your weight), and then 12 parabolas at zero gravity ... the ZERO-G Weightless Experience.
