Dr. David Demko, gerontologistFor the man, or woman, who thinks they have "everything", here's another opportunity to get a head. For years, Europeans have incorporated the bidet into their daily lifestyles. However, the idea of such a device is quite foreign to most Americans. That attitude may be about to change. There's a new product on the market, an add-on bidet for your toilet. Now, just like our friends across the ocean, you can add a cosmopolitan atmosphere to your bathroom. In other words, the new device let's you go European ... in a manner of speaking.

bidet model and componentsAmerican homes are so commonly equipped with every comfort, convenience and entertainment gadget such as: air conditioning, color television, dish washers, clothes washers and dryers, electric tooth brushes and shavers, stereo music sets, and hair dryers. Compared with our European friends,Americans have just about every practical convenience, except for a new bathroom appliance, the bidet.

Bidet products by Sanicare are used by men, women, and children everyday in Europe and Asia. Considered safe, natural, and environmentally friendly toilet / commode accessory. Afterall, each bidet model gives continuous freshness and comfort.

Here's just a few of the benefits of a bidet. Helping in the alleviation of Hemorrhoid and feminine discomforts, and in some cases reducing the risk of infection. Also, it is a great accessory for women with menstruation and mothers with young children. It's adjustable temperature and tough unibody construction easily installs on most toilets and connects to all standard plumbing fixtures.

Sanicare Bidet appears to be an economical American answer to bidets. It easily installs on most toilets, providing healbthy water cleansing without expensive plumbing modifications to the bathroom. The add-on bidet is illustrated in the photo (right). The components (top of photo) and their installation (bottom of photo) demonstrate how the product is used to retrofit an existing commode.

Water cleansing has long been embraced by most of the world as much healthier and more comfortable than toilet paper. Will Americans accept this new "toilet tune-up"? You never can tell. Americans are the most affluent people on earth, and we enjoy staying ahead of the curve. With an attitude like that, a bidet is something we won't want to go without. Well, that's the news from down-under, "bidet mate".
