Ageless MagazineThe first national lifestyle magazine for women over 55 has been launched. Titled "Ageless", each bimonthly issue addresses the rapidly growing ranks of mature women in America with practical, timely advice on topics essential to contemporary living. "The fastest growing market segment in the United States is women over the age of 50," explains Kellene Giloff, publisher of "Ageless" magazine, "and yet it is one of the most unrecognized groups in society. We created the magazine to fill the void that exists today for a magazine specifically tailored to women 55 and older."

Unique in both format and design, "Ageless" is the result of a national study of ageless women recruited to assist in the magazine's development. After two years of focus groups, surveys, and one-on-one interviews, Giloff incorporated requests for realistic mature models, larger type and more white space, page numbers on the front cover, and articles that don't jump pages. Ever suggestion went into creating the Premiere issue of "Ageless" with Mary Tyler Moore as the cover profile.

The cover personalities are dynamic women who have faced life's challenges head on with great success. "Mature women", says Editor-in-Chief, Leda Sanford, "are searching for reinforcement and encouragement to help them make the most of their longevity." In addition to celebrity profiles, regular departments include fashion, beauty, health, fitness, travel, finance, technology, and motivational stories of everyday women.

Future plans for the publication include "Ageless"-sponsored events such as dining clubs, cruises, conferences and expos, sporting and fund-raising events. The magazine sells for $3.95 per issue, and is available in bookstores nationwide.
