03 - The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program provides federal funds to help eligible low-income households meet their home heating needs. The fuel assistance program is part of the Department of Health and Human Services. To apply for assistance, contact your local LIHEAP agency. Readers may also contact the local power or gas company for information on low-income fuel assistance. For states without LIHEAP phone numbers, call the Eldercare Locator at 1-800-677-1116, which is a nationwide directory assistance service designed to help older persons and caregivers locate local support resources for older Americans. 04 - 1-888-NO-BLUSH is a toll-free information and education resource administered by the National Rosacea Society for patients with rosacea. Rosacea is known for its acne-like effects on the facial skin of an estimated 13 million American adults. The chronic condition typically strikes after age 30 as redness on the cheeks, nose, chin, or forehead that comes and goes. The nose may become bumpy and swollen from excess tissue. The good news is that medical therapy appears to be widely effective in improving the symptoms.
